WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
During the preoperative consultation with the RN, we will discuss helpful items to bring. Please bring a list of medications you are currently taking and a recent photo ID. It would be also helpful to bring a list of your current Doctors’ names and contact information.
Items such as toiletries, comfortable clothing with an elastic band, charging cords for devices, and other personal items will help make your stay more pleasant.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO USE YOUR SERVICES?
We recommend that you use our services for at least 24 hours after surgery, as this is the one of the most critical periods during recovery. However, we offer Concierge Care packages for up to three days and Recovery Retreat packages for up to seven days. Please contact us if you would like to reserve a longer service period.
IS A POST-OP VISIT INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGES?
This depends on what package you have chosen for your care. For example, if you have chosen our Transportation Services then a post-op visit is not included. You can always add on any services when you talk with a RN on your initial consultation call.
DO YOU PROVIDED LAST-MINUTE BOOKINGS AND EXTENTIONS OF CURRENT CARE
At Holistic Hearts Recovery, we try to accommodate last-minute bookings, but we cannot guarantee availability due to high demand. If you need to extend your stay, please do not hesitate to notify your caregiver as soon as possible.
IS FOOD INCLUDED?
Yes, this is based on doctors’ recommendations, but we provide a healthy and nutritious meal. Let us know if you have allergies.
ARE ALL YOUR EMPLOYEES' NURSES?
Holistic Hearts Recovery has a team of highly trained and qualified nurses and licensed nurse’s assistants that are ready to assist you throughout your entire stay. All staff have had extensive training to recognize any post op complications quickly. Holistic Hearts Recovery are all certified for CPR by the American Heart Association.
IS RECOVERY STAFF AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY?
Yes! Our services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding our services or care. We also have a pool of flexible RN who can take over at any time. We believe in great communication, so if you call Holistic Hearts Recovery, someone will be ready to help you.
